In response to the economic downturn and in recognition of the pressures facing Planning professionals and those managing their training budgets, Summer School has decided to postpone the full launch of its Planning Academy until conditions are more favourable. 

Summer School Immediate Past President, Alistair Hackston said  “While this is a clear disappointment to our members – and to those who had already booked with us – we will now use the opportunity to develop and promote the idea and the programme over the next year or so, to offer the Academy the launch that the ideas deserves.

Summer School is developing its “Planning Academy” as a unique combination of plenary session presentations of the activities of other development professions, and extended training workshop opportunities offering hands-on exploration of professional subject specialisms.
